Reclaimed Pikeview Quarry is a historic former mining site located in northwest Colorado Springs, west of Interstate 25 near Centennial Boulevard and Allegheny Drive. The approximately 100-acre property was donated to the City of Colorado Springs by Castle Concrete Company and will be managed by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. Upload File

History of Pikeview QuarryMining operations at Pikeview Quarry began in 1903 and continued for more than a century. The quarry provided materials used in projects across Colorado Springs, including construction of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
